Nike Embellishes Air Max 90 With Bright Tri-Toned Accents

Nike has served up a bright tri-toned iteration of the Air Max 90, a follow-up to the label’s similarly colored “USA” model first unveiled last month.
The shoe is detailed with a bevy of contrasting materials, bold colors and patterns that call attention towards major parts of the silhouette. A shiny silver tag is placed at the top of the tongue, popping out from its crisp white mesh foundation. “Bright Blue” highlights appear at the upper eyelet panel, complemented by a “Midnight Navy”-colored panel around the forefoot, finished off by a striking “University Red” side Swoosh. Furthermore, patterns of reflective gray stripes are scattered along full-grain leather uppers. All of these details rest over a clean white midsole that’s rounded off by the sneaker’s transparent Air sole cushioning system.
