Nike Air VaporMax 2020 "Summit White" Supplies Subtle Sustainable Style
Crisp, clean and constructed of at least 50% recycled content by weight.
After debuting in vivid “Multi-Color” and “Smoke Grey” makeups, Nike‘s VaporMax 2020 is shifting to a more calmly-colored perspective with a new “Summit White” colorway. Subtle, sustainable and stylish, the “Summit White” serves up some of the Swoosh’s latest and greatest Air Max tech in an ecologically conscious fashion.
Constructed of at least 50% recycled material by weight, the “Summit White” offers a natural-colored upper with a slight tan tint. This sock-like top half is built of a swath of recycled materials, ranging from recycled bottles to t-shirt and yarn scraps. White Swooshes adorn the lateral quarter, and the tongue offers a dash of multi-color flair.
Fit is handled by a FlyEase lacing system that uses winch-like laces and a rectangular box on the shoe’s throat. This can be loosened by puling the “Release” tongue tab or tightened by yanking a pulley-like “Lock” strap on the heel that’s surrounded by marbled blue and purple foam.
Down below, the trim, crystal-clear VaporMax cushioning unit is made of at least 75% recycled TPU. Durable rubber outsole pieces placed in high-wear areas borrow the same light blue shade from the heel piece to complete the look.
The Nike VaporMax 2020 “Summit White” will release via retailers like Asphalt Gold on August 6. The MSRP is set at $250 USD.
