Toni Smith Stars in JW Anderson's Playful Fall/Winter 2020 Campaign

JW Anderson has unveiled the Fall/Winter 2020 campaign for both its men’s and women’s collections. Like previous campaigns, the images were photographed by filmmaker Tyler Mitchell and styled by the brand’s long-time collaborator Benjamin Bruno. This time, model Toni Smith is the star of the sophisticated yet youthful campaign.
Smith and Mitchell himself stand on a vintage playground roundabout. The images bring a fun and carefree spirit to the campaign, aligning with JW Anderson’s playful aesthetic and Mitchell’s signature style. Mitchell is captured photographing the roundabout in wide-legged trousers, a fuzzy sweater and mules, while Smith is dressed elegantly in silky, neutral-toned dresses. The juxtaposition between the old, almost abandoned-looking playground equipment with the model and photographer’s refined clothing give the Fall/Winter 2020 campaign and collection a timeless feel.
