Balenciaga's Drive Sneakers Detailed With Striking Red Accents
Embellished with sharp multi-layered highlights.
A new iteration of Balenciaga‘s Drive Sneakers has landed. The Spanish luxury house has added striking red accents to the sleek footwear piece, a bold follow-up to the label’s monochromatic model seen just a few days ago.
The shoe’s upper embodies a boisterous multi-layered design, detailed with a variety of textures, materials and tones that add depth to the silhouette’s sleek construction. Starting at the top of the shoe, “Drive” is stamped over a bed of black rubber overlays, followed by round laces and contrasting white mesh. “BALENCIAGA” branding is placed at an angular leather panel that starts from the upper quarter, wraps around the heel and cuts off at the lower midsection.
Furthermore, red embellishments appear at the forefoot and sidewalls, intersecting with other geometric black and white strips. As a final note, the shoe comes with an extra-thin black outsole that underscores the silhouette’s slimly tapered body.
