Take a First Look at Balenciaga's Monochromatic Drive Sneakers
Revved up with multi-layered uppers.
Balenciaga has revved up its seasonal footwear lineup with a brand new silhouette — Drive Sneakers. Like the label’s Track.2 sneakers, the new model is built with a rich plethora of layers that emphasize textural contrast, this time without the bulk.
“Drive” is stamped at the top of the shoe, followed by a silver-toned mesh tongue and round laces. Black leather panels appear at the upper quarters, wrapping around the heel and ending near the shoe’s lower midsection. Monochromatic details stretch from the heel to the sidewalls, intersecting with another set of geometric panels that taper towards the forefoot. All of these details rest over an ultra-thin black outsole to complete the shoe’s sleek look.
Balenciaga’s Monochromatic Drive Sneakers are currently available on Luisa Via Roma’s website for $709 USD.
