You Can Now Buy a $33K USD Evangelion Test Type Human-Scale Figure

To mark the grand opening of Small Worlds, a miniature-themed museum/indoor amusement park, an Evangelion Test Type Human-Scale Figure is now available for purchase. Contrasting the miniature forms founds at Small Worlds, the latest release shrinks the skyscraper tall mech into a human-sized figure.
Measuring six feet tall, the standout display piece features an FRP shell laid over a steel frame with a base to create a 220-pound towering expression. Starting at ¥2,600,000 JPY (approximately $24,300 USD), the Evangelion Test Type Human-Scale Figure can be upgraded with the umbilical cable and light effects for an extra ¥800,000 JPY (approximately $7,436 USD).
But that’s not all those interested in the figure will also need to pay ¥116,000 JPY (approximately $1,078 USD) for shipping and ¥30,000 JPY (approximately $279) for installation within Tokyo or the surrounding Kanto region of Japan. Those outside of the region will need to pay up to ¥329,000 JPY (approximately $3,057 USD) for shipping and ¥390,720 JPY (approximately $3,631 USD, for a maximum price of ¥4,119,720 JPY (approximately $38,500 USD).
