Swae Lee Reminds Us He Doesn't Need a "Reality Check"
The latest single from the Rae Sremmurd artist’s upcoming album.
Following two other solo singles, “Someone Said” and “Back 2 Back Maybach,” released this year, Swae Lee returns with another track off of his forthcoming sophomore solo LP Human Nature. Titled “Reality Check,” the song details the Rae Sremmurd artist’s success with women, cars and money. “Who needs a reality check, I got a check in reality,” he sings. “I gotta check on my ex to make sure she ain’t doin’ better than me.”
Human Nature will be Swae Lee’s first solo album since his 2018 Swaecation. After Mike Will Made-It revealed the singer submitted 733 songs to choose from for his album, Swae Lee teased the JAXX-produced “Reality Check” on Wednesday. The track features laid back, auto-tuned vocals and verses that showcase the artist’s blasé attitude towards his success and lifestyle. “I gotta go get me the pesos, each and every day of the week,” he sings. “And I’m gonna ball, never gonna catch me in the bleachers.”
Listen to “Reality Check” for yourself and expect Human Nature to release soon.
In other news, ZelooperZ has returned with a new single called “Tomb,” along with accompanying visuals.
