Stream Ras G's First Posthumous Project 'Raw Fruit Vol. 5-6'
26 extraterrestrial hip-hop beats from the late artist.

Ghetto Sci-Fi Records, The Afrikan Space Program, and the Shorter Family have released Raw Fruit Vol. 5-6, the first posthumous release from Ras G. The groundbreaking Los Angeles artist initially submitted the tracks for the project right before his tragic passing last July.
Raw Fruit Vol. 5-6 is another deep-dive into the exploratory sound Ras helped proliferate, delivering 26-tracks chock full of extraterrestrial hip-hop loops that continue to exemplify his Afrofuturism underpinnings. The beatsmith initially created the Raw Fruit series in 2013, which was inspired by his vegetarian diet.
The release arrives alongside a limited edition red vinyl 2xLP pressing from Fat Beats, which is limited to 100 copies. A black version is also available via Ras G’s Bandcamp page.
