Converse Sets Loose CPX70 With Wild Zebra Stripes
A contemporary twist on the classic Chuck ‘70.
Converse has set loose two wild zebra-striped iterations of the CPX70, a follow-up to a clean all-white rendition of the silhouette seen back in February.
Coming in “Zinc Yellow/Black” and “Egret/Black,” the two models embody inverse colorways of one another. The silhouette’s uppers take on the designs of Converse’s classic ankle-hugging Chuck Taylor mold, constructed in canvas with contrasting silver-toned eyelets, flat laces and sleek rubber toecap. Found on the medial side, both models’ All-Star logo has been chopped into three stripes, mirroring the sequenced pattern of their adjacent zebra prints. As a final touch, the silhouette comes with a thick reconstructed midsole, complemented by a stabilizing heel piece for added comfort and support.
Converse’s CPX70 “Zinc Yellow/Black” and “Egret/Black” are currently available on FOOTDISTRICT’s website for $125 USD.
