NBA 2K20 and Nike Go For Gold with Adapt BB 2.0 "Winner's Circle" GE
This gamer-exclusive release is only available to members of the final two communities in the NBA 2K20 MyPLAYER Nation Finals.
Over the past eight months, NBA 2K20 and Nike Basketball have teamed up for a wide slate of “Gamer Exclusive” sneakers ranging from Kobe 5s to LeBron 17s and PG 4s. Now, with the MyPlayer Nation finals underway the two have presented their final drop: a championship-level Adapt BB 2.0 dubbed the “Winner’s Circle.”
Going for gold both literally and figuratively, the low-cut, power lacing shoe is dressed in a bright yellow shade that’s almost Los Angeles Lakers-esque. This is accented by a textured white Swoosh across the throat’s power lace controlled sheath and an inverted Swoosh on the medial midfoot. Molded heel clips add further stability, tongue tabs add “L” and “R” to differentiate each shoe — plus possibly provide a nod to the triggers on video game controllers — and Nike Sportswear-style strikes appear towards the collar.
Midsoles split between yellow and white, with the power lacing system’s motor embedded in the midfoot. Two lights, customizable in color from the wearer’s iPhone or Android device, face towards the lateral side. The same app that controls these lights enables ballers ranging from casual to professional to remotely adjust the fit of each shoe for more lockdown or space. Outsoles are dressed in white, with an oval-shaped Zoom Turbo bag in the forefoot acknowledged by a semi-translucent blue window.
Looking to purchase a pair? You’ll only be able to do so if you’re part of the final two communities in the NBA 2K20 MyPLAYER Nation Finals. If so, make sure your MyPLAYER account and Nike SNKRS account are linked, and they can be yours on Nike SNKRS for $400 USD.
Moving from futuristic to classic, Reebok is set to re-release Shawn Kemp‘s memorable Kamikaze II in its OG “Black/White” colorway.
