LEGO Technic Crafts Life-Size, Fully-Functioning Ducati Panigale V4
15,000 bricks and 217 HP.

Following the release of LEGO Technic‘s miniature Ducati Panigale V4, the toy manufacturer’s design team has now released a life-size, 1:1 scale version of the Italian superbike.
The Ducati Panigale V4 was stripped of all its original fairings and panels, and was rebuilt using more than 15,000 LEGO bricks. It is also fully functional, meaning that you could — technically — ride the LEGO Ducati using all of its 217 HP and 82 lb-ft. of torque, which is derived from the 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine.
LEGO Technic artist Riccardo Zangelmi spent more than 400 hours placing the bricks by hand. All the bricks are individual and are not glued down, and the entire machine only weighs 180 kg. Take a closer look at the LEGO Technic life-size Ducati Panigale V4 in the gallery above.
