If you’ve ever wanted to own the most powerful motorcycle ever made by Ducati but it was slightly above your price range, you’re now in luck: LEGO has crafted a much more affordable version in Technic form.
Kickstarting a new-found partnership with Italian performance bike maker Ducati, LEGO has re-created a scaled model of the Panigale V4 R for its more scientific Technic series. Working together, the two companies have been able to capture as much realism as possible for the new kit, creating the first ever Technic motorcycle with a functioning gearbox. Steering, a front and rear suspension as well as disc brakes all work together to provide to imitate the racing bike’s movement, while its brilliant red body and kickstand makes for a perfect display piece for Ducati fans. With 646 pieces and a length of more than 12 inches, it’s also a great project to work on during these stay-at-home days, allowing you to spend time on something both creative and educational.
For the Ducati enthusiasts out there, the LEGO Technic Panigale V4 R will be available August 1, retailing at $70 USD. Head over to LEGO’s website to learn more now.
Elsewhere in design, you can now pre-order a Hot Wheels 1:64-scale R/C Tesla Cybertruck.
