Jaguar Releases Tech-Filled 2021 I-Pace All-Electric Performance SUV

Jaguar has unveiled the 2021 I-Pace, showcasing a whole host of new technological features and improvements to the British company’s electric car.
This mid-sized performance SUV now offers a new fast, intuitive infotainment system and quicker charging capabilities, making for a more pleasant owner experience. Jaguar says the new system is “as quick and easy to use as your smartphone,” noting its self-learning navigation system that will show you where the nearest charging station is, how long it’ll take you to fill up, and the cost.
Elsewhere, Jaguar has included a dual-modem embedded SIM with 4G data plan, wireless device charging, embedded Spotify, and Bluetooth for two phones at the same time inside the cabin. There’s also a new 36-degree camera system, a wide-angle digital rear-view mirror, and an optional Meridian sound system that equips the I-Pace with 16 speakers and one subwoofer.
Other tech updates include cabin air ionization with PM2.5 filtration, making for a cleaner allergen-free atmosphere. Charging has also been upgraded, as customers with an 11kW supply at home can now gain 33 miles of range (WLTP) per hour.
The I-Pace is fitted with two electric motors which provide 394 HP and 513 lb-ft. of torque, while its 90 kWh battery is good for 292 miles. 0-60 MPH is achieved in just 4.5 seconds.
