Inter Milan Replaces Stripes With Zigzags for 2020/21 Home Jersey
Inspired by post-modernist design.

Nike has officially unveiled the home jersey to be worn by Italian club Inter Milan for the upcoming 2020/21 season. The kit takes the club’s signature color palette and aesthetic of black and blue stripes which has been adapted into a striking new zigzag pattern.
This new interpretation of the classic kit design is a tribute to the work of various Milanese designers in the 1980s. Speaking about this influence, Nike’s VP of Football Apparel Scott Munson explained, “We continue our pursuit of challenging the club’s traditional striped identity, this time drawing inspiration from one of Milan’s most important design movements. The zigzag graphic is a staple of post-modernist design and is also reminiscent of the slithering Biscione.”
The Inter Milan kit will release via the Nike web store on July 1, and is set to be worn by the Milanese club when the new season begins in September.
