Instagram Will Soon Let Creators Sell Goods Within Its App
All taking place in-app.
Instagram has just announced that it is gearing up for a new form of commerce in its app. The new addition to Instagram Shopping arrives in the form of a platform for creators to sell such things as crafts, artwork, merch — all done directly in-app. As a requirement, all businesses that register must do so with a website that they currently own and sell from.
Set to take place on July 9, those that wish to apply for Instagram Shopping can visit the dedicated page for further details on eligibility.
