Paying homage to the cities of Montreal, Beijing and Rio De Janeiro, adidas has created three sneakers draped in the colors and patterns of each city.

For its latest “City Series,” the brand reintroduces both the adidas UltraBOOST and adidas NMD, each of which has been given a makeover to encapsulate the DNA of its given location.

The UltraBOOST DNA Montreal comes in a “Scarlet/Cloud White/Core Black” colorway, with a stretchy knit upper that adapts to the shape of your foot to ensure ultimate comfort. A running sneaker at heart and in its design, the sneaker’s responsive cushioning improves your stride and gives an energy boost in return.

Reworking the NMD_R1, adidas celebrates the cities of Beijing and Rio De Janeiro in two bold colorways. The NMD_R1 Beijing takes inspiration from the Chinese national flag, arriving in an “Active Red/Bright Yellow/Cloud White” colorway, while the NMD_R2 Rio De Janeiro features throwback styling, with vivid colors of “Bold Green” and yellow on a “Core Black” canvas.

Taking features from the brand archives in the form of the midsole plugs, and merging them with modern day innovations, the NMD_R1s and R2s are as functional and relevant as they are nostalgic and classic.

This latest “City Pack” drops on June 26, 2020, and will be available exclusively from the adidas web store.

In other news, adidas has officially released images of the latest YEEZY QNTM “Barium”.
