Following on from its eye-catching TenNine trail shoe, HOKA ONE ONE has debuted its latest footwear innovation. Dubbed the Clifton Edge, the new running sneaker is designed with a focus on comfort and to create a smooth running experience for the wearer.
The key feature of the Clifton Edge is its unique extended heel geometry which is intended to create a smooth impact. Like previous releases in the Clifton line, the latest sneaker is a mix between maximal cushioning and minimal weight, with the brand’s signature cushioning in a more lightweight and lower profile package. The sneaker itself comes in an off-white colorway, with a pastel pink and orange split outsole unit.
The Clifton Edge is available for pre-orders now from the HOKA ONE ONE web store, and will launch online on July 1. To mark the launch, the brand has announced the HOKA Ekiden Strava Challenge. Participants in the running challenge will be entered into a draw to win a pair of new Clifton Edge sneakers.
In related news, Deckers — the company behind HOKA ONE ONE — recently donated $500k USD to a string of social justice organizations.
