Medicom Toy and LIGHTS STYLE have teamed up for a set of Swarovski-coated Snoopy figures. Besides a vintage-style Linus BE@RBRICK unveiled last month, this collaboration with LIGHTS STYLE is yet another bold addition to the Japanese toymaker’s lineup of PEANUTS nostalgia — three versions of Snoopy that pay tribute to the classic series.
Snoopy has been reimagined as “Teddy Bear,” “Flying Ace” and “Baseball” figures. The first piece sees the iconic character in an upright sitting position. Its body has been embellished with shiny white crystals, contrasted with black accents around the eyes, nose, ears, collar and tail. The “Flying Ace” version renders Snoopy with old airplane pilot gear — a brown leather helmet with goggles and a sleek red scarf. Lastly, the “Baseball” figure shows the character wearing an oversized baseball cap, covering most of its head. The hat is made up of ivory-toned crystals, complemented by thin lines around the edge of the panels and a wide black brim. As a final note, the piece features a big brown glove worn on the left hand.
Medicom Toy and LIGHTS STYLE’s Swarovski-coated Snoopy figures are currently available on CJ Mart’s website for $798 USD.
