DIVINITIES and BoTT's New Capsule Collection Is Packed With Retro Graphics
Available at two pop-up stores in Japan.
After offering up its range of Spring 2020 goods back in April, Los Angeles streetwear imprint DIVINITIES has tapped Japanese brand BoTT for another reference-fueled apparel collection. Marking the first of several projects DIVINITIES has lined up for its 10-year anniversary, the collaboration features vintage graphics across T-shirts, short sleeves and shorts.
Highlights include a matching collared shirt and shorts set covered in colorful graphics of idyllic scenes and figures. BoTT’s “Birth of the Teenager” branding decorates the pieces in varying sizes. One T-shirt references the 1984 science fiction film 2010: The Year We Make Contact, while another features the name of a store in Fukuoka, Japan, Apple Butter Store, where the collection will be exclusively released. Other tees are emblazoned with photography-based images and bold graphics that have become characteristic of DIVINITIES’ aesthetic.
Take a closer look at the collaborative capsule above. The collection is available at DIVINITIES’ pop-up store at Bend Tokyo from now until June 28, before launching at Apple Butter Store on July 4.
In other news, Carrots has joined forces with Axel Arigato for a capsule collection comprised of apparel and Clean 90 sneakers.
