Continuing his #WESTDAYEVER rollout, Kanye West brought it back to his debut album The College Dropout with a music video for “Spaceship.” Unearthing the visual for the GLC and Consequence assisted track, the clip was never officially released but a leaked version does exist on YouTube.

In his Twitter post, Kanye West notes the unreleased nature of the music video with the caption “THIS IS WHAT WE DREAMED OF BACK THEN,” referencing his time working at the Gap during his teenage years in Chicago.

Marking a full-circle moment following Kanye’s 10-year Gap partnership announcement, the music video sees the rapper during his Roc-A-Fella days dressed as an employee at a “Gap.” Matching the story chronicled in the song, the visual shows ‘Ye grow increasingly frustrated with his mall job with dreams of escaping to space. Following appearances from GLC and Consequence, end of the playful video shows Kanye put on an astronaut suit after long day at work and take off in his spaceship.

According to the leaked version on YouTube, “Spaceship” was intended to be a single but never released because the label wanted to focus on Kanye’s next album.
