Rising Canadian producer Villabeatz has shown off another side of his musicality with a house driven remix of K. Forest‘s “Function.”

Building on Forest’s vocal styling, the rework adds an atmospheric element driven by thumping bass. Claps carry the track with an array of titillating sounds filling sonic space. A break down near the end of the track really allows Villabeatz to shine through a masterful arrangement of cords and subdued spatial effects.
