Through the company’s new #ReebokLove program, individuals can nominate someone that they want to thank for their service throughout this unprecedented time with a fresh pair of new sneakers.
“Whether it’s a healthcare professional, a local grocery store clerk, police officer, postal worker, delivery person or other essential worker, anyone can nominate someone they know starting May 1,” Reebok stated of the project. The brand will select several of the nominees to receive a free pair of Reeboks, which will be picked out based on the label’s discretion.
In addition to offering shoes to frontline workers, the company is also donating $10,000 USD to support The Movemeant Foundation’s Covid-19 Relief Fund, which benefits fitness teachers and instructors. The brand has also announced that it will donate $2 USD for every item purchased over $20, of which the proceeds will benefit the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund created by the World Health Organization.
