KOTA The Friend enlisted Joey Bada$$ and Bas for his newest single “B.Q.E,” taken from his upcoming LP EVERYTHING. A homage to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, the three New York natives trade verses over a jazzy, saxophone-laden beat and remind each other to push through life’s adversities.
“B.Q.E” follows a string of releases from KOTA this 2020, including his Lyrics to Go, Vol. 1 compilation, singles like “California,” “MONDAY” and “VOLVO” and his collaboration with Marlon Craft on “Mom’s Whiskey.”
