Featuring appearances from Playboi Carti, Future, Chris Brown, Young Thug, and more.
Drake has released his latest mixtape, Dark Lane Demo Tapes. The project, which follows 2017’s More Life, was curated by Oliver El-Khatib and OVO Noel and is comprised of loosies, SoundCloud demos, and singles that were lost in the mix over the past few years. Among them is “Pain 1993” featuring Playboi Carti, a song originally believed to be releasing on Carti’s long-awaited and highly-anticipated Whole Lotta Red.
Dark Lane Demo Tapes spans 13 tracks with a star-studded guest-list like Chris Brown, Future, Young Thug, Giveon, Fivio Foreign, and Sosa Geek War. The compilation also includes his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Toosie Slide.” Alongside the announcement of the mixtape, Drake also confirmed that his sixth studio album will be dropping this Summer.
After a few years shying away from the spotlight, the Toronto rapper has resurfaced as of late, giving a look inside his Toronto home, talking to Diddy about his creative process during the coronavirus quarantine and more.
