Emerging Swedish label Kultur 5 has launched its first-ever jewelry collection, featuring a selection of rings and earrings constructed from silver. Designer Jonatan Härngren — who was previously creative director at L’Homme Rouge — chose the material due to its ability to copy stone formations.
The collection of jewelry is inspired by Härngren’s youth, and particularly the rocky cliffs and stones of the area in which he grew up. These influences are referenced through the rough edges of pieces, as well as the capsules title: “Conversations on the Cliffs.”
Kultur 5’s first collection is available to order from the label’s web store now, with more jewelry styles coming later this year. After this, the brand will continue to explore new areas, focusing on ethically sourced materials, places, cultures and products in a number of different categories.
In other fashion news, UNDERCOVER also released a new jewelry selection.
