Leblon Delienne Crafts Gold Chrome-Clad Mickey Mouse Figures
Featuring a collaboration with British interior designer Kelly Hoppen.
French sculpture studio Leblon Delienne has grown a reputation over the years for its flips of pop culture and comic icons, turning them into everything from life-size creations to chrome-clad home accessories. Continuing to take note of Walt Disney’s unmistakable Mickey Mouse creation, the studio has now released two iterations of the character: a 60cm figure in gold-tone metal as well as a 48cm resin figure with gold-tone chrome ears.
Both pieces were crafted in France, with the latter being a collaboration alongside British interior designer Kelly Hoppen. The 60cm figure comes fully doused in a gold-tone chrome finish, with the 48cm iteration employing a matte-finished resin in beige, white, or black, with the same gold chrome utilized for Mickey’s enlarged ears.
Take a detailed look at Leblon Delienne’s latest Mickey Mouse figurines above. Both the 60cm and 48cm iterations are available via Selfridge’s webstore and are priced at $4,445 USD and $2,015 USD respectively. Each colorway of the 48cm piece is limited to 250 units.
