A BATHING APE Drops Bold Satin Logo Jackets
Embellished with bold kanji-inspired graphics.
Following up a hybrid indigo dyed shark-and-tiger capsule, A BATHING APE has released two bold satin logo jackets. Arriving in a vibrant purple and green plus a more toned-down black and grey, each style is centered around a traditional fit and eye-catching motifs.
Both iterations feature a single-colored satin body with striped detailing on the ribbing, cuffs and collar. Front and center on each is an embroidered “BAPE” wordmark, done up in grey and using a kanji-inspired font with giant, swooping first and final letters. Further embellishment is provided by way of a “MASTER A BATHING APE” spellout on the back bottom — one that uses the same font as the front’s graphic — and an ape head logo on the left sleeve, surrounded by an octagonal shape to further the jacket’s overall Eastern ethos. Each of the front’s seven buttons offer debossed BAPE text, and a small ape head tag appears along the aforementioned ribbing to complete the look.
These A BATHING APE satin logo jackets are available now at Selfridges, and retail for $480 USD a piece.
