Jaden Debuts "Ninety" Music Video From 2017 Album 'SYRE'
Featuring his signature Californian sunset gradient.
Nearly three years after the release of 2017’s SYRE, Jaden has returned with a sprawling eight-minute visual for his hit “Ninety,” titled here as NINETY: A Poem By SYRE.
“This is a twisted love story,” the opening credits state. The cinematography maintains Jaden’s signature sunset gradient of pinkish blue throughout while he gets teary eyed at the midway point after a relationship didn’t turn out the way he had planned. “Come here, mama, I know you want me/ Food from the soul, I know you’re hungry/ Gave you my two cents, ain’t got money, but/ I’ll take you somewhere fun and tell you something funny, hey/ It’s something funny, baby,” he sings in the opening lines, only to want to remain friends later on in the narrative.
This is Jaden’s latest offering after he premiered his “Mission” music video alongside Trinidad James back in April. Before that, the artist continued his visual rollout with his “Again” music video from last year’s ERYS full-length. He rounded out 2019 with a co-headlining tour alongside sister Willow Smith spanning over 20 different North American stops. He announced the music video via his Instagram with an homage to the New Balance 990 V4.
