Following his magnetic “CRYBABY :*(“ single from last November, Los Angeles-based musician Dijon is following up 2019’s debut Sci Fi 1 EP with a brand new project titled How Do You Feel About Getting Married?. On the new six-track project, the budding alternative R&B artist continues to build on his tenderhearted blueprint.
Entirely self-produced with help from Henry Kwapis and Jack Karaszewski on “rock n roll” and “jesse,” Dijon’s latest EP is pure soul fuel. From the bluesy underpinnings of “alley-pop” and “hunni” to the light-hearted love tales on “alley-oop” and “do you light up?,” Dijon mandates a pensive set of rhythms and grooves that hit in all of the right places.
