Dr. Martens Releases Pride Month-Honoring 1460 Boot
Complete with rainbow flags and multicolored stitching.
Dr. Martens is celebrating Pride Month this year with the release of its aptly-designed 1460 boot, which sports a number of nods referencing the occasion.
Its signature smooth black leather body now incorporates rainbow stitching all around, highlighting each panel with a different colored thread. Elsewhere, the boot is graced with an embroidered Pride flag on the rear-quarter towards the heel, and now comes with a rainbow-colored heel tab that notes the boot’s AirWairs construction.
Completing the boot’s look is a set of rainbow or black laces and the classic yellow welt stitching on the sole unit. In honor of Pride Month, Dr. Martens is donating $25,000 USD to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for young people in the LGBTQ+ community.
