Adam Sandler to Reportedly Star in Netflix Sports Film Produced by LeBron James
Entitled ‘Hustle.’

Adam Sandler has reportedly signed on to star in Hustle, a sports film produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment, Happy Madison and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and helmed by We the Animals director Jeremiah Zagar. written by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters.
According to sources, Sandler will portray an American basketball scout who unfairly gets fired from his job. His unnamed character then discovers a talented player from abroad and flies him over to the U.S. in an attempt to prove that they can both succeed in the NBA.
Reports further state that Netflix acquired the rights from Legendary and pitched the film to Sandler, who signed on after discovering Zagar’s recent commitment to the project. Hustle could be the followup to Sandler’s Uncut Gems, however, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is delaying production indefinitely.
