Vans and BILLY's Link up for Suede-Tinged Bold Ni LX
Coming in “Blueprint” and “Marshmallow.”
Vans and BILLY’s have teamed up for two lush iterations of the Bold Ni in LX form. Following a BEAUTY & YOUTH collaboration from back in January, the Californian footwear label has delivered suede-tinged renditions of the silhouette, steeped in a rich indigo “Blueprint” and clean white “Marshmallow” colorway.
The former colorway is mostly dominated by a dark blue palette. Vans’ angular sidestripe logo appears over the upper body of the shoe in full-grain leather, starting from the heel, curving up to the forefoot and doubling as the eyelet panels. In contrast to the smooth material, suede is placed throughout the rest of the sneaker — a royal blue shade at the sides and dark navy at the heel and toecap. As a final note, a set of ivory-toned laces is accented against the shoe’s dark blue color scheme, while a tonal midsole completes the design.
