Birkenstock Taps BEAUTY & YOUTH for Leather Cross Strap SIENA
Coming in embossed-grain leather and delicate suede.
Birkenstock and BEAUTY & YOUTH have teamed up for a set of SIENAs, a leather cross strap sandal which debuted just two years ago. This collaboration follows a capsule with New York-based label Proenza Schouler that included a series of patent leather slides.
The silhouette comes in either black or light beige colorways, complemented by large silver-toned buckles. Supple embossed-grain leather makes up the uppers of the black iteration. Tapering slightly around the toes, two wide straps intersect over the forefoot, while the large adjustment buckle is placed at the lateral side. The sandals boast a molded black footbed to match the uppers, contrasted against an organic brown cork midsole that’s accompanied by a treaded outsole. The sandals’ light beige counterpart is dominated by delicate suede instead, with a brown footbed to complete its earth-toned color scheme.
BEAUTY & YOUTH and Birkenstock’s Leather Cross Strap SIENA sandals in black and beige will be available on UNITED ARROWS’ website for $176 USD and $149 USD, respectively.
