Proenza Schouler and Birkenstock Drop Luxe Patent Leather Sandals
The work-from-home staples get a topstitched update.

Proenza Schouler, the New York-based brand helmed by design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, has teamed up with Birkenstock for a bevy of luxurious sandals.
The contemporary label has taken on Birkenstock’s iconic Milano and Arizona silhouettes, offering a range of patent leather sandals complete with topstitching details. Kicking off its collaboration is the Milano sandal in black leather with contrasting yellow details, which details the velcro straps and side panels that secure the foot in place.
Contrasting this offering is another Milano but in white and black, with contrasting stitching placed on their respective colors. Both pairs sit atop of a cork sole unit, with the black pair sporting a leather trim and the white pair remaining untreated. They are both equipped with a grippy rubber sole and an interior lined with suede.
Alongside these are the Arizona sandals, coming in black with white topstitching, white with black stitching, and an orange-black offering. All three come in patent leather and sport the topstitching detail, and differ from the Milano as they do not feature a backstrap.
