Stream The-Dream's Spicy New Album 'SXTP4'

It’s been two years since The-Dream‘s latest project, Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol. 1, 2, 3, and hopefully it’s given fans ample time to have caught up on the lengthy, 40-song triple album. Now the R&B vet returns to drop off SXTP4, a spicy, 13-track follow-up to the previous racy release.

Sticking true to form, The-Dream kicks off the album with braggadocious lyrics on “Passion”, getting straight to the point with the risque and confident bars he’s known best for. He taps in Jhené Aiko for “Wee Hours,” marking his sole feature on the entire album and a timely choice given her own impassioned project that recently dropped, Chilombo.

He continues his themes of sex, love, and romance in sensual cuts like “Hard 4 Me” and “Take Care,” and offers a mellow moment mid-listen with the back-to-back records “Notice” and “Spiritual.” A piano cut, aptly titled “Coltrane,” offers a jazzy palate cleanser to close it all out.
