Remi Wolf Debuts Trippy and Colorful New "Woo!" Music Video
The rising California singer-songwriter’s vocals shine on this one.
Following the release of last year’s You’re A Dog! EP, rising Bay Area-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Remi Wolf returns with her new single and music video for “Woo!”, out now via Island Records.
After a premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, Remi debuted an electric and vivid visual offering that’s a mushroom trip and a half directed by Agusta Yr. Her charisma and sense of humor are on full display here, as she sings about love in a poppy and catchy piano-driven track that infuses just the right amount of funk for a memorable tune. Remi’s vocal range truly shines throughout.
“‘Woo!’ That’s the sound I make when I open up a pack of Gushers and vibe on a bish heavy like heheheh. Actually, though I literally wrote “Woo!” as one stream of consciousness and don’t even remember what I wrote. It’s fun and cute and sparkly and intense. The song is an ADHD explosion of my feelings on love. Please listen to it while cooking, driving or showering,” Remi wrote in the caption of her YouTube video.
The artist even showed off a shoutout from Jeff Lowe of the hit Netflix documentary Tiger King, congratulating her on the new track in a weird twist of events. Watch “Woo!” above and stream the single below.
In more music news, JPEGMAFIA debuted Episode 6 of his ongoing documentary series, How To Build A Relationship where he gives fans an intimate first person perspective complete with conversations with some of his favorite collaborators.
