Apple's Upcoming iPhone Design Refresh May Look Like an iPad Pro
With steel edges like the iPhone 5.
According to reports, Apple‘s upcoming flagship smartphone will resemble the design of the current iPad Pro more than the latest iPhone 11 Pro. The device is expected to have flat steel edges and a flat screen similar to the iPhone 5. However, the bezels are expected to be much smaller with an updated camera similar to the current iPad.
Many Apple fans long for the previous iPhone designs, and since the latest iPad resembles the smartphone’s previous design, it would make sense for the company to harmonize both looks for each product. The upcoming iPhone 12 is expected to also utilize the iPad Pro’s newly implemented 3D LIDAR system for improved AR capabilities. As such, the upcoming Pro variants are expected to have three rear cameras while the others retain two.
Apple is also rumored to be developing lower-end HomePod speakers for later this year alongside Apple Tags key trackers, according to Bloomberg. Although Apple usually introduces new products in September, due to the global pandemic, dates may changes. Stay tuned for more official information.
