Panerai Unveils Limited Radiomir Mediterraneo Collection
In either an automatic or hand-wound movement.

Italian luxury watchmaker Panerai has just introduced its first limited-edition collection of the year — named the Mediterraneo — featuring three iterations of its iconic Radiomir watch, and two of the three models have now been unveiled.
On the outside, both watches in the collection are very similar save the case size: a larger option comes in at 45mm, while its smaller counterpart measures in at 42mm. The material construction of the casing is also different, with the former being built in lightweight titanium while the latter comes in AISI 316L polished steel. Both timepieces feature a blue brushed sunburst dial, patinated rectangular hour markers, and Arabic numerals, as well as a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock. As to the heart of the watch, the 45mm edition features a fully automatic movement while the smaller 42mm version holds a manual-wind caliber, both operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasting a power reserve of 3 days. Finishing the two timepieces is a dark blue alligator strap with off-white stitching.
There’s yet to be any official pricing information on the two pieces, but expect them to be available this spring.
Elsewhere in watches, TAG Heuer has updated its Aquaracer GMT for a “Batman” alternative.
