atmos has already introduced seasonal outdoors-inspired sneakers, but the Japanese retailer is only getting started with its warm weather drops. Its latest collaboration recruits New Balance for a special set of 850 running shoes, with a color palette that draws from camping amidst nature.

The retro runner boasts a variety of earth-toned touches amidst its rugged suede and mesh upper, juxtaposing pale green and warm moss tones with sharp orange and yellow accents, recalling a warm campfire and cozy tents. Splashes of blue on the outsole and sockliner recall the streams that weave through leafy forests, hidden beneath a desaturated green midsole that takes cues from leaf beds. Meanwhile, single silver accent above the toebox slightly increases visibility, gently offsetting the shoe’s organic aesthetic.

Look for the special 850 shoes to hit New Balance Japan’s site and atmos’ web store on April 11 for ¥14,000 JPY (approximately $130 USD).

Recently, atmos recruited PORTER and TAKARA TOMY for special Duck Camo Air Max Day items.
