Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer has released a 2020 updated version of its GMT sports diver range, giving enthusiasts a change to own a “Batman”-styled timepiece at a much more affordable price.

The new Aquaracer GMT comes in a 43mm stainless steel case with a brushed finish on top and high polish on the sides, housing an outsourced automatic 4Hz movement which is nevertheless Swiss made, and carries a 46-hour power reserve. The highlight of the watch however is no doubt the “Batman” two-toned bezel and aluminium insert with 24-hour markings — rotating bi-directionally as a GMT as opposed to the convetional diver’s uni-directional rotation — as well as the intricately designed blue sunray dial with horizontal patterning. A date window sits neatly under a cyclops at 3 o’clock, working alongside white trapezoid indices and white hour, minute, and second hands. Extending the blue hue is the watch’s fourth GMT hand, painted in the same shade with lume at the ceter. Of course, as a diver, the crown is of a screw-down variety, much like the engraved solid caseback, altogether providing a water resistance of 300m.

For those interested, the 2020 TAG Heuer Aquaracer GMT is now available over on the brand’s website, going for $3,050 USD. Head over to learn more.

Elsewhere in watches, Bell & Ross has released a new Black Steel chronograph.
