Bell & Ross Perfectly Balances Form & Function With the Black Steel Chronograph
Carrying an in-house, fully automatic movement.

Well known for achieving a perfect balance between form and function with its impressive roster of timepieces, French watchmaker Bell & Ross have now followed through with a new sports chronograph with a classic design.
Measuring in at a heftier 43mm, the stainless steel case of the new BR V3-94 Black Steel works in tandem with a curved sapphire crystal to house sleek black dial with white indices. As with most classic chronographs such as the Rolex Daytona or Omega Speedmaster, Bell & Ross’ latest offering also carries three subdials at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, displaying small seconds, a 12-hour counter, and a 30-minute counter respectively.
The indices and numerals, as well as the hour and minute hands, are all coated with SuperLuminova for greater legibility in low light conditions. Powering the watch itself is an in-house BR-CAL.301 automatic movement with a chronograph function boasting a power reserve of 40 hours. Finally, completing the timepiece is either of stainless steel bracelet or a black calfskin strap.
For those interested, the Bell & Ross BR V3-94 Black Steel Chronograph is now available, retailing for $4,500 USD. Head over to the company’s website to learn more.
Elsewhere in watches, G-SHOCK has teamed up with Jahan Loh for a new GM-6900 animation.
