Continuing its focus on the Air Jordan 1 Low, Jordan Brand has now given the low-cut take on the classic a makeover-inspired by the iconic ‘85 “Varsity Red” colorway.

Surfaced in early images, the shoe follows the two-tone scheme of the beloved colorway with a contrasting mix of black and red. Accenting the black leather base are bright panels of red mudguards, quarter panels, collar, heel panels and Swooshes. Additional branding comes in the form of Jumpman tongue tags, printed insoles and Jordan Brand Wings at the rear. Finishing up the design of the shoe is a black sockliner and pure white midsole paired with a contrasting red rubber outsole.

Take a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Low “Varsity Red” below.
