NILMANCE Delivers Convertible Techwear for SS20
Employing Schoeller c_change and 3XDRY technologies.
After delivering a dystopian lookbook for its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, Hong Kong-based techwear imprint NILMANCE has returned with a variety of lightweight options for the SS20 season. Set against an industrial London backdrop, a new lookbook continues to showcase the brand’s emphasis on functionally-aligned technical apparel through use of innovative textiles, utilitarian cuts, and military aesthetics.
This season, the brand’s theme encapsulates the idea of division, defined by dividing the various garments into different sections as exemplified by convertible cargo parts with a vertical zip opening, convertible jackets with removable sleeves, and more. A major highlight in the new collection is the Schoeller-clad 3L jacket and high-density nylon vertical chest zip parka, the latter of which can be converted into a travel-sized bumbag with an adjustable sling. Other unique textiles highlighted include a thermo-sensitive resin that has been rehashed from the FW19 range, the adaptable windproof and waterproof Schoeller c_change textile, Schoeller 3XDRY technology, and more.
