Nike Canyon Sandal Arrives in Adventurous "Oracle Aqua"
Alongside toned-down “Triple Black” and ‘Black/White” styles.
Nike Sportswear is kicking April off in adventurous style with a new Canyon sandal. Inspired by classic Nike ACG designs, these open-toed strap sandals have arrived in three colors: a vibrant “Oracle Aqua” that looks straight out of the ’90s as well as more toned-down “Triple Black” and “Black/White” styles.
Providing maximum breathability with its open heels and toes, the Canyon Sandal offers straps across the forefoot, ankle and heel for security. On top of the straps lay both buckles and Velcro systems for a customizable fit. These buckles and Velcro accoutrements feature branded accents like Nike text graphics and small Swooshes. The “Oracle Aqua” uses this assemblage of technical pieces as a canvas for a vibrant palette of retro hues, using a bold aqua blue as the base with orange graphics and neon green buckles. Meanwhile, “Triple Black” and “Black/White” opt to keep things subtle.
Soft foam footbeds and midsoles provide warm weather comfort, while beefy rubber outsoles bring a degree of sturdiness. This cozy fit and hardy build ensure that the Canyon is an apt choice for city streets or backcountry trails alike, making for a versatile piece of spring footwear.
All three colorways of the Nike Canyon sandal are available now at the Nike webstore, retailing for $75 USD.
