Crunchyroll's 'Tower of God' Anime Introduces Khun in Exclusive Episode 2 Clip
The acclaimed WEBTOONS comic finally gets the anime treatment.
Crunchyroll recently debuted the first episode of its original anime Tower of God, and in the exclusive clip above, we are acclimated to the dangers, the inner workings of the titular tower, as well as the introduction of a new character. Tower of God is a dark fantasy action series based on an acclaimed WEBTOONS comic of the same name by creator SIU.
The story focuses on a boy called Twenty-Fifth Bam who must face a series of tests to progress his way through a mysterious Tower and find his friend Rachel, who entered the tower and left him at the bottom. On the way, he builds relationships with other contestants trying to reach the top, discovers the rules that govern each floor of the tower, as well as the struggles and terrors each floor offers.
The exclusive footage showcases a scene from the series’ second episode “Three Four-Hundredths,” where we see Bam and his newly met companion Yuri come across a new character named Khun after being told his next test is to kill off half of the floor’s contestants.
Check out the clip above, and catch Tower of God on Crunchyroll exclusively every Wednesday.
