Audemars Piguet Adds Baguettes to Its Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked
32 baguette diamonds join the signature hexagonal gold screws.
On top of now offering its 41mm Royal Oak watch in silver, Audemars Piguet has also unveiled a new edition to its ultra-lux iteration of the Royal Oak: The Openworked Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel — this time with a baguette-cut diamond bezel.
Adding to the beauty of the elegant anthracite open-worked dial are 32 baguette-cut diamonds laid alongside the watchmaker’s signature gold hexagonal bezel screws. Powering the watch is the same double-balanced Manufacture Calibre 3132. The double balance wheel and balance-spring assembly sit on the same axis where precision and stability are greatly improved.
Joining the diamonds are precious metals like an 18-carat white gold case, full white gold bracelet, and pink gold hour markers, bridge, and hands. This is one watch that will surely get you noticed. Currently, pricing is available upon request, but to give you a rough idea of pricing, the non-baguette/non-boutique exclusive version retails for roughly $55,000 USD.
