Apple Might Release a 14-inch MacBook Pro in May 2020
Supposedly to replace its 13-inch predecessor.
A new 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro with the codename J223 could be releasing as early as May 2020. YouTuber and leaker Jon Prosser shared the rumor on Twitter, adding that a bigger 14-inch display upgrade is a “big possibility.”
According to a previous statement from famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will release the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models in the second quarter of 2020. Seeing as the latest MacBook Air and the recent 16-inch MacBook Pro already saw the light of day in March 2020 and November 2019 respectively, only the 13-inch MacBook Pro is left.
It’s possible that the upcoming 14-inch MacBook Pro could replace the 13-inch version when Apple decides to discontinue that model. In addition to the larger display, the new laptop will reportedly be equipped with the new Magic Keyboard and an upgraded processor, utilizing Intel’s 10th-generation Ice Lake Chips.
In related news, Apple will mass produce 1 million face shields per week for medical workers.
