Pornhub Readies Release of First Non-Pornographic Film 'Shakedown'
Expanding its content.
Looking to expand its content, Pornhub is now readying the release of its first non-pornographic feature film.
Shakedown, is an hour-long documentary that chornicles an underground lesbian club in Los Angeles. Particularly focusing on a group of performers known as the Shakedown Angels, the film was filmed from 2002-2017 and features an array of interviews and backstage videos. Directed by Leilah Weinraub, Shakedown highlights a unique moment in a true subculture and reveals the progressive outlook of Pornhub as a sex-positive platform.
In 2016, Weinraub worked with Pornhub to create a capsule collection with Hood By Air when she was serving as the Creative Director for the lauded label.
Catch the trailer for Pornhub’s first non-pornographic feature Shakedown above and look for the film to be streamed on the site from March 4 until the end of the month. Following play on the site, Shakedown will premiere on the Criterion Channel and receive a digital release.
