'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Teaser Introduces the New Superhero Family
The newest Marvel Studios film debuts this July.
Marvel Studios has debuted the official teaser for its highly-anticipated superhero film The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The visual unveils the movie’s retro-futuristic tone and introduces the family with some background information on how they became the Fantastic Four. Their dynamic and relationships are also teased alongside the return of the big bad, Galactus, and his herald the Silver Surfer.
Making up the family are Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing. Meanwhile, Ralph Ineson will portray the planet-devouring cosmic Galactus, and Julia Garner will take up the role of Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. WandaVision’s Matt Shakman will serve as director.
The upcoming film will mark the second reboot in the Fantastic Four film series following the 2015 version, and the original 2005 and 2007 duo — all of which received unfavorable reviews from critics.
