Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega Get Attacked by a Scary Unicorn in A24's 'Death of a Unicorn'

A24 has dropped the official trailer for Alex Scharfman’s Death of a Unicorn.

The upcoming black comedy film stars Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega as father Elliot and daughter Ridley who accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while driving to a weekend retreat led by his wealthy boss, Richard E. Grant. Upon finding out that the duo are hiding a mythical creature in his car, Elliot’s boss seeks to exploit the unicorn’s miraculous curative properties. However, the unicorn doesn’t seem to be the same kind of loving and graceful creature humans have painted them to be.

Also joining Grant, Rudd and Ortega in the cast are Will Poulter, Téa Leoni and Anthony Carrigan. Scharfman produces alongside Lucas Joaquin, Tyler Campellone, Drew Houpt, Lars Knudsen, Tim Headington and Theresa Steele Page, while John Carpenter, the composer of the Halloween movie soundtrack, his son Cody and longtime collaborator Daniel Davies create the music.
